I am Davy Black. Infatuated with heroes, alter egos, stage names, and playing pretend. Yes, I do enjoy friends, dancing to the beat of my own drummer, and sticking my bare feet in the sand. If I were someone else, I think I'd like me. I like to ponder about the universe, read books about faith, finance, design, or whatever my most recent kick may be. Yes, I drink a lot of sugared coffee. Yes, my favorite color is light blue, although I like black, deep black. Yes, I'm dark. -Much darker than my coffee.

I have been writing and performing music for over a decade both as a solo artist and with friends. I´ve toured extensively and shared the stage with many notable acts ranging from The Almost and Kill Hannah to Meg & Dia and Shiny Toy Guns. I´ve also had the opportunity to play many great venues and festivals such as the House of Blues and Warped Tour.

Currently I am working on new material for the release of my first full-length solo album.
